Greg Doering-Southside rep
I am a 2nd generation arborist and native Oregonian. I grew up helping my dad in his business, Cowboy Tree Service in Roseburg, OR and have been working in the green industry in the Portland metro area for the last 30 years.
I have bachelor degrees from Eastern Oregon University in biology and Oregon State University in animal science. Specializing in consulting, tree preservation and plant health care, I am an ISA certified arborist and tree risk assessment qualified.
I’m also licensed by the OSDA & WSDA in both ornamental & agricultural insect, disease & weed management, plus right of way and forestry.
As a Gold Card member of the Professional Cowboy Association I enjoy staying in touch with the sport. I enjoy all outdoor sports including the challenges of Geo Caching. My current daily find streak of 2,037 straight days currently ranks me 3rd in the state of Oregon.
Kevin Murphy-Eastside and Vancouver rep
I hail from everywhere as I grew up in all parts of the country. I wound up in the Pacific Northwest for school, where I majored in horticulture.
My love of the outdoors and plant life kept me in Oregon. I started my career at General Tree Service in 1994. I worked as a climber and plant healthcare technician for many years.
I have been serving our clients as a representative for over fifteen years, and I look forward to working with you and improving your landscape!
Iris Reimnitz-Westside rep
I am a native to the Northwest, born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska. I graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington in Seattle and earned a teaching certificate as well. After 8 years as an elementary teacher, I moved to the Portland area.
Soon thereafter, I began summer work as the assistant to the head gardener for Washington Park and the gardens at Pittock Mansion. This was when I discovered my true passion in life.
I have now worked in the green industry for the last 18 years. My specialty lies in landscape design, tree & planting projects, consulting, and designing outdoor containers. I will be most happy to help you in all aspects of your landscape care from proper arboriculture to your plant health care needs.
When not working, I savor my time with my family; my husband Tom, our daughters Sophie and Nina, and our dog Polly. We enjoy our beautiful outdoors together with hikes in the gorge, camping on high alpine lakes, and summer days on the coast.
Jim Sherwood-Commercial accounts and Wilsonville
I grew up in Eastern Washington spending my summers working on a wheat farm from high school all the way through college. I have a bachelor’s degree in Forestry/Geography from Eastern Washington University and Washington State University with a minor in Biology.
I have been involved in urban forestry for over 30 years and have been working for General Tree Service for over 27 years. I am an ISA certified arborist and am a licensed commercial pesticide applicator and consultant through the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
I enjoy fishing, hunting, golf and bowling but my biggest passion is competitive gardening and particularly, growing giant pumpkins. I have grown a personal best 1,868 lb. pumpkin and am ranked amongst the top 10 growers in the world.
I am a board member of the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth which oversees the competitive weighing of thousands of giant fruits and vegetables throughout the world. I am also a founder of the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers, a Northwest group of competitive gardening fanatics!
I welcome the opportunity to meet and work with you to help you care for your trees and landscapes throughout your home and business.
Scott Lee-McMinnville rep
I have worked in the landscape industry for more than 30 years and 20 have been with General Tree Service! I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences from Oregon State and am well rounded in all aspects of landscape care as I’ve held many different positions here.
I am affiliated with Guide Dogs for the Blind and raise puppies for this great organization. This led to a second role with Search and Rescue when I started as a member of the Yamhill County Sheriff’s office SAR unit in 2004. I began training my first SAR dog Lopez in Area Search and Water Recovery.
In 2006, we became a certified team and began deploying around the state on search and rescue missions. In 2010, I acquired K9 Nexus and we recently joined the Mountain Wave Search and Rescue team in Clackamas County where we are active in upwards of 50 deployments a year.
Anne Marie Chrisman-Consulting Arborist
I provide tree risk assessments, loss and value appraisals, root evaluations, tree plans for development, assistance with municipal tree codes and general tree related advice.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Production from Oregon State University, am an ISA Certified Arborist, hold a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and speak fluent Spanish.
Before becoming a consultant, I worked for five years as a production climber, leading pruning crews. I am often accompanied by my good friend and retired guide dog Timmy, who snores under my desk and brings joy wherever he flops.
