About
I have had an interest in trees and all types of plant material for as long as I can remember. In high school I started working in a retail nursery where my interest in all forms of plants grew. I enrolled in horticultural classes and worked at a wholesale nursery through college. I studied courses through the horticulture departments at Mount Hood, Portland, and Clackamas Community Colleges; I obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Landscape Technology from Portland Community College.
I have been involved in the green industry for over 40 years. I owned and operated a plant health care company for 23 years and have worked as an arborist since 2011. I am an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist & tree risk assessor, and licensed commercial pesticide applicator through the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
I enjoy continuing to learn about trees. I am fortunate enough to have joined the team of talented professionals at General Tree Service. I take pride in being a skilledl arborist and collaborating with my colleagues to serve our customers.
When I’m not consulting about trees, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two grown children, and our Golden Retriever, Vince.
