WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
I hired General Tree Service to prune and clean out a Cypress tree. Initially, they sent two men out to do the job. I was not satisfied with what was done but it turned out to be an issue of miscommunication between myself and the estimator. General Tree immediately responded and sent the same two excellent men, Travis and Josh out to do further work on our tree.
They could not have been more pleasant and professional. Their work more than exceeded my expectations but the most impressive part is how General Tree stood behind the job and were willing to do what was needed to satisfy me, the customer. They have pleasant and capable employees and go the extra mile to satisfy their clientele.

We Specialize in Tree Removals and Pruning
Our certified arborist recommends regular pruning as it can lower the chance of storm damage by removing dead, dying, or diseased branches that are weak and more apt to break. Pruning also helps a tree develop a strong structure, making it foundationally sturdier and better able to withstand high winds.
Root Health Care for Healthier Trees
If you have a tree that seems to be showing signs of struggle, such as small leaf size, crown dieback, or lack of root flair, contact us for an evaluation. We can advise whether a root zone enhancement or root collar excavation will put it back on the road to recovery.
Root Zone Enhancements for Healthy Trees
To remedy this problem, we perform a Root Collar Excavation and Root Zone Enhancement. Our tree care workers will use an air spade to excavate shallow roots that are constricting the base of the tree. We will trim problem roots then add a special blend of compost and fertilizer directly to the exposed roots. Finally, a layer of mulch will be properly applied to protect the roots. The result will be a happier, healthier tree that is less susceptible to problems.
24-Hour Emergency Tree Service
All our employees receive training in proper safety procedures as we’re not only concerned about our crews, but also your family and property. Standard procedures include wearing appropriate personal protection equipment, state of the art equipment to lower large limbs, and placing safety devices to control pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
We strive to make a tree emergency as stress-free as possible. Upon arrival, we’ll make a quick assessment and take care of any immediate dangers to prevent further damage
After careful evaluation, we’ll explain what needs to be done and if presenting multiple options, will explain the pros and cons of each. Our goal is to give you all of the critical information so you can make the best choice.
When Should You Remove a Tree?
Here are some situations where tree removal may be recommended to limit potential hazards that could cause harm to your property or family.
- Dead or dying trees more apt to topple in strong winds and cause damage
- Crowding other trees
- Growing close to home and causing structural damage
Our Team of Certified Arborists
To provide you with the highest quality of service, we have several employees who have earned the ISA Certified Arborist credential.
In addition to having been trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture, they must adhere to a stringent Code of Ethics that strengthens the credibility of the workforce in the tree industry.
In order to be eligible for the exam, they have met one or both of the following:
- 3 or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture
- Degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture or forestry from a regionally accredited educational institute.
In addition to having multiple ISA-certified arborists on staff, we also have several ISA-certified Master Arborists. This is the highest level of certification offered by the ISA and recognizes those arborists who have reached the pinnacle of their profession.
In addition to passing an extensive scenario-based exam, they must abide by a Code of Ethics to ensure their quality of work. Less than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists currently hold this certification.
